It’s because they don’t have control over you anymore, they want to keep you for whatever reason and having you refuse them is something they don’t understand because they only understand how things relate to them and their singular experience and not to others like you.
Oh I didn't know that was considered narcissistic. I guess he doesn't want any negative attention from you. I thought narcissist enjoy attention from others not leaving someone alone.
It's good that narcissist is leaving you alone and no longer apart of your life. Maybe he's taking his medication for it.
