I constantly see on this site that if a girl is interested in a guy, she texts him often. So if she doesn't, is she not interested?

I think most girls text the guy they like everyday.

I'm different because I hate texting, I have horrible arthritis in my hands so texting is never an option. I, personally prefer phone calls.

I'd prefer to see the guy in person, and just because I like him doesn't mean I need contact with him everyday. I'm not a clinger...

No, like my best friend really likes a guy and she would text him everyday. Now she's kind of holding back (she still likes him the same) but she doesn't want to seem annoying, and she wants to see if he's thinking about her enough for him to text her first. if that made sense?

Not necessarily... maybe she doesn't text the guy often because she doesn't want to seem annoying/needy and maybe she's waiting for the guy to text her first.

No. Some people just don't like texting that much. Every day is quite a lot. Also, a lot of girls wait for the guy to text first.

"Often" could mean a lot of different things according to a lot of different people- male AND female.

No. That doesn't mean she's not interested. I don't text my friends everyday, but I love them. Maybe she just doesn't have anything to text you about or maybe she's shy about it.

it could be many thing like she's interested but is often busy or that she's interested but playing hard to get or that she isn't interested at all
