Have you been rejected from your outside looks?

I think everyone has dealt with inner thoughts of, "What's wrong with me?"
I was approached by a man today. He wasn't very handsome, but he seemed nice. I would have turned him down even if I was single and it brought this question, and similar questions from gag about nice guys being rejected based on looks, to mind.
Sure, he was nice and I appreciated the time he took trying to get to know me, he was clean and his hair was combed. He was wearing nice clothes with his collared shirt tucked in...
into his underpants! His Hanes underwear were not only sticking out of the top of his pants by about 3 inches, but his shirt was tucked into his underwear as well. Ugh!!!
Sometimes, yes rejection is based on looks.
Thank you for the MHO ❤

Of course. That's the norm, not the exception.
I’ve been rejected for not being very highly qualified by Indian guys. Yes it happens in my country! For example, a woman who is uglier and a gynaecologist is every doctor’s dream girl even if she is in her 30s. Western people have a hard time believing that but if you want many suitors in India who earn well you have to study a lot, be a virgin, be fair-skinned, thin yet curvy etc. Many guys PRIORITISE a woman’s potential to earn well over all other things. It’s shameful because I want a real man who doesn’t depend on his wife’s income.
And I also remember being rejected for my ethnicity by WHITE guys. I mentioned Italian in my bio and had so many simps who wanted to talk. Then I changed it to Indian and got fewer DMs and many disrespectful questions.
Exactly what does that mean?
@beefcakebradybatson I’m not sure what’s so hard to understand
Maybe if you shaved that red beard you'd get a girlfriend.
@beefcakebradybatson It’s always an ugly guy like you being mean online. Never a hot guy
I think so but it's hard to know, I really think it was my overall... height and look and how I projected. But she was as cold flat no as one could get... haha!
what would be fun is to see where people are at today after 30 years.
Sure. I’m quite conventionally attractive but I’m not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s great with me 😊
Been called handsome and rejected and (my favorite) not their type. So what? Can't fix ugly unless you're quite wealthy.
Never, people actually want to talk to me because of my looks but generally they're just interested in sex and that's about it
Have I been rejected because of my looks? Every single day. That's not personality. That's looks.
Have I rejected a girl based on looks alone? Not really.
Tbh, I look like an art but my skin tan kindof hides my real glow..
Well, nothing to worry because I know I'll get my looks in the future
Yes. Mostly by extended family but who cares when you are loaded, great at work, loving husband and a family that everyone envies.
Yes I believe a lot of us have, rejection isn’t bad, it builds character.
I've been rejected for being too tall. It's just part of reality, and we either deal with rejection or fear it and curl up like an infant.
No idea. I learned from my mother and sister that women don't really understand the reason for their choices in an articulable way like I do. So I never ask or look into it the reason for rejection.
Most likely. I'm not to everyone's tastes and that's ok.
Only by insecure men when I was younger, women don't express any kind of rejection and are usually open and friendly, likely because I am too.
You can always lieeee. People lovvveee liars
All the time I am a 2 out of 10. I am being generous to myself.
Hard to say when I never know the reasons I was rejected in the first place
Well, I've never been in a relationship, so obviously.
I probably have many times 😅😂
i used to be fat so yea that's happened before
I am a reject.
Probably for being too fat.
I don't have a clue, but probably yes.
Not that I'm aware of 😂
Probably but hard to tell sometimes.
No I was not rejected
yes a lot, more often
than I hoped
Yes.. many times
Yup. Many many times.
... everyone has?
Yes and no
I don't think so.
Nope.
Every day of my life
Probably.
