I've never played matchmaker, but other people have tried it for me. Most of it did NOT work out. However one co-worker introduced me to a younger woman who had a lot of common interests with me. That was ten years ago and she and I made great friends. Never a dating thing, mainly due to the age gap and we came from different worlds. We hung out a lot and went on day trips. She just moved back to Europe where she is from but I'm still in contact with her.
