So I finally decided to give a girl who's has been chasing after me a chance and she ghosted me. She comes from a over protective family she has made horrible choices in men , so her family tries controlling her dating life. She dated a friend two years ago who used her for money so now her family doesn't truest men at all so won't ler her date etc she's 26.

She has had a thing for me for the past 3 years since am the only guy to treat her with repected but I do not date girls with controlling parents since it always ends up with me being hurt. I also had others issues going on when she asked me out and didn't wanna make them into her problem. My friend annie promise to come over today after letting her mom known around 3pm. so I took 5 days off from work which she known about and she ghosted me without a word. Im I wrong for now wanting nothing to do with her now dating wise? I have been damage a lot from dating girls with controlling parents.

I express my feeling to my friend no reply yet. I have decied I won't be dating her or anyone with controlling parents at all now. I have a lot of issues because of things like this. Why did you take five days off from work? Were you guys planning to spend the whole five days together? Sounds a little intense for a first date.

I think you should talk to her in person, or at least reach out to her by text if talking in person isn’t possible. Find out why she ghosted you. If she doesn’t respond this time you can ghost her back (although it will be a hollow victory if she never tries to talk to you again).

My point is she may have a good reason for not coming over that day. Listen to her side of things before you decide to cut her out of your life for good.

Yea we had plan on spending the five days together. We have been friends for a few years and did try friends with benefits but I stopped It since am not that kind of guy. This isn't the first time she's ghosted me without a word then had some lame excuse. I have a lot of issues from dating girls with controlling parents and truma. I will still be friends with her but she lost any chance to date me.
