Guys, Acting keen when we met then not showing interest or effort afterwards?

I went on blind date as arranged by a friend. We had a great time and he was laying it on thick saying he finds me so attractive, I'm so feminine and soft. I had said I also find him attractive and interesting. He kept saying he can't wait to see me again take me on dates. Then back into real life I get one text per day and the texts are about his working day- boring. He also takes 10-12 hours to respond. He has not asked to see me again or called to talk to me. Now - what do my next steps need to be? Do I block him for lack of effort? Ignore him when he does eventually text? Ask if he is interested? Because it feels like the whole thing was a lie at this point.
