As for giving up you not only gave up on your boyfriend but you gave up on your kids as well by leaving them. If the roll were reversed & you let yourself go after having kids & your boyfriend left you & left you with the kids would you be mad?

I really don't blame you though it would have been more humane to have told him your concerns before leaving. I think it's a lack of respect to the other partner. It's a case of falling for someone and then changing on you in any way physical, emotional etc. I stopped exercising when I was with a woman I'd been dating and gained an extra 15#. I confessed to her with an apology. She didn't really understand but I told her I thought it was a lack of respect on my part

Forget about ur boyfriend and think of those children who will be raised without a mom and their psychological issues they will earn as a result of ur action, the children u were a part of the decision to bring them to this life.
