Do I have the right to be upset with my boyfriend or am I being too crazy?

My boyfriend and I agreed to see each other today the last time he saw me. I texted him about something I thought would be fun for us to do that day. He was active on Instagram and Snapchat all day. However, he didn't text me until midnight today and said that he wasn't able to make it because his grandma came to town. He never told me about this. I am a little upset because I wanted to see him and we planned to see each other for a week. Am I right to be upset or am I being crazy?

You absolutely have right to be upset. It feels worst to plan something for the person you care and not to have them show up for whatever reason even though they agreed.
I have smiled it off saying nothing to them but i felt really sad that they did that.

Now don't be like me, cuz I would get kinda petty and conveniently "forget" about some future plan. Woops.
Do the mature thing and talk to him and say you're upset, you don't like what he did.

Yeah I don't know what to say to him though or how to phrase it.

A trick I've found is to simply say to yourself what you feel. Not trying to phrase it in a nice way or try to sound good or mature or even fair. Just the bare truth.
We sometimes filter ourselves to ourselves because of how we fear we'll sound.
And you could fall into that trap if you don't want to come across as crazy.

Thank you I appreciate your advice and input. I’m thinking of telling him why I was upset and how next time I’d appreciate if he cancels plans in advance instead of the last minute.
