If you were to exclude physical appearance, would you say you have high standards in dating?

If physical appearance was excluded cause I know people can be flexible when it comes to appearance but have set standards when it comes to boundaries and whatnot, would you say your standards are high if you were to exclude your flexibility in appearance?

Absolutely. I will not give you my all or let my guard down until I know for certain that you have trusted me entirely first and proven that you are willing to do anything it takes to prove your loyalty. Been hurt too many times and the only person I trust now is myself because of my past traumas and the crap I have gone through with women that I thought were finally the one to prove me wrong. Probably not fair to expect so much from someone based on my past exes but I'm tired of getting hurt and don't think I can handle another fracture of the mind.

the thing is... I don't compare people... I don't check if they tick all boxes... I take them as they are and or we click and connect or not...

I have my observations and I know that I connect better and deeper with smart people, open about their emotions, with sense of humor and distance to themselves and reality...

but I don't look for those traits in people... it's hard to say what really make someone interesting to me... I know many smart and funny people... but they are missing something...

so those definitely aren't standards :D
