Girls, How would you prefer to be rejected when the guy likes your personality but isn’t interested physically?

I’ve had this happen a few times. I’ve met a girl who has a good personality but I’m not physically interested.

I’ve been on the other side of this situation more then once. I personally prefer to be rejected like this:

“Hey so so. I think you are a good guy (don’t use the word “nice guy”) and I respect you. But I got to be honest I’m not interested in you in that way”.

In that scenario the woman is being honest while being considerate of my feelings. Most importantly she is showing me respect. That is what matters most. It might be not want to be what I want to hear but the respect goes a long way.

Anyway there is a young woman who works at a local gym that I know likes me. I can just tell with her mannerisms and the way she talks to me.

She’s got a good personality but I’m not like physically attracted to her. I just want to be ready just in case she asks me to hang out.

That’s pathetic. Really. Whether or not I feel physically attracted to her isn’t a choice I got to make.

Also I’m being considerate of HER feelings hence I am looking for advice on how to turn her down as gently as possible.

Tell her u see her as strictly a friend

When a woman calls me “just as a friend” as a form of rejection I absolutely cringe. It’s extremely insulting because she still wants my attention for her own validation tactics.

Reason being why would I torture myself staying “friends” with someone I can never have? Just so I can watch her fall in love with someone else?

So I wonder how women feel about that when the shoe is on the other foot on that one.
