Ex sent text asking for a hook up?

Earlier this evening my ex of 8 months sent me a text basically asking for a booty call. He said he would come pick me up and we can go somewhere. I am very proud of myself. I ignored his text message and I deleted it without even fully reading it. I was able to read most of it just by swiping down from the taskbar, or whatever it's called. I contemplated replying back but not agreeing to meet up with him, but I really feel no answer was the most impactful. Also, dating sucks.
