It can’t be either/or but a mix of both. I require the respect of a relationship where I take the lead, but the thoughtfulness of the princess treatment relationship. I need the lead with none of the emotional labor from an immature partner, I need the feelings of undeniable safety as a princess with none of the condescension of an overbearing partner.
