Hey, can I speak to you in private, I have something I want to you. Happy Valentine’s (hands flowers to the girl) I’ve liked you for a minute now and I think you’re a very talented, amazing and beautiful person. I want to take you out to dinner, if you’ll have me.

It’s great but don’t wait that long. If you’re attracted SOONER is better then LATER… Stop waiting around or else you met find it’s too late. People can move on, someone else may approach her, she may approach someone herself.
Even if you’re rejected number one you have closure and two you’re not wasting your time and can move on. Asking someone out doesn’t have to be a big performance. It can be but it needs to be from the heart.
Yeah, this is the response that I was looking for and I need to stop waiting until Valentine’s Day to ask a girl out on a date. I did this so many times in college and it never worked. They appreciated the flowers and the thought of them, but it was always ‘’Sorry but I have a boyfriend”. She works on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’m going to ask her out on Tuesday this week. Thanks again!
Yeah that’s for sure and be glad someone who has a boyfriend rejected you. Last thing you want is someone to get involved with you whose taken that can cause a mess and chances of her cheating on you are high.
You’re welcome and even if you’re rejected you don’t have to waste your time
I asked her out today and she said that’s really sweet of you and I would date you but I’m already dating somebody. And I said thats ok and thank you for being honest with me. I could’ve had a chance if I hadn’t waited. I’m never playing the wait game again. Thanks for your help! I didn’t realize how easy that was.
You’re welcome that’s the thing. There will be people who reject you yes…. But those people just aren’t meant to be. Even then you’re not wasting your time on tjem.
You’re welcome.
Hmm, that's a pretty bold move, bro! Asking someone out on Valentine's Day is pretty intense, you know? I mean, the flowers and everything are a really nice touch, but going straight for the dinner date might be a little overwhelming.
I think a better approach would be to start a little more casual, you know? Maybe just see if they'd want to hang out first, get to know each other a bit better before jumping into a full-on date. That way, it's not so much pressure right off the bat.
Like, you could say something like "Hey, I was wondering if you'd want to grab a coffee or something sometime? I feel like we should get to know each other better." That way, it's a little lower-key, but you're still letting them know you're interested.
Then if that goes well, you could circle back and do the whole flowers and dinner thing for Valentine's. That would make it a little more special, you know? Plus, it gives you a chance to feel out if they're actually into you like that first.
Just my two cents, bro. You know the situation better than I do. But in general, I'd say start small and work your way up to the big romantic gestures. Slow and steady wins the race, am I right?
Another excellent response. Honestly, now when I think about it and look at your response from a male perspective, it would definitely be very overwhelming. Particularly after giving her roses, chocolate, and asking her out on a date right after. Thanks
You're totally right, man. When I really think about it from a guy's perspective, that Valentine's Day approach does seem a little too much, especially all at once.
Handing her flowers, chocolates, and then asking her out on the spot - that's a lot for a girl to process, even if she already knows you're into her. It could definitely come across as overwhelming and put her on the spot.
I'm glad you were able to see it that way too. It's easy for us dudes to get caught up in the grand romantic gestures, but we gotta remember that not every girl is gonna respond well to that. Especially if it's all happening so fast.
Taking it slower and more casual is probably the way to go. Maybe just the flowers on Valentine's Day, and then casually ask her out for coffee or something low-key. That way, you're showing your interest, but you're not drowning her in it, you know?
Gotta give her some breathing room to respond how she feels comfortable. No need to go all out right off the bat. Build up to the big stuff, if she seems receptive. Slow and steady wins the race, my dude.
I'm really glad I could provide a helpful male perspective on this. It's all about finding that right balance - being bold enough to put yourself out there, but not so intense that you scare her off. You got this, bro. Just take it step-by-step and see how she responds.
