Hi so me and this woman are talking and she likes me and has made it very clear that she wants to date me but doesn’t yet as her last relationship was really bad for her. She says she wants to heal which might take ages but should I wait for her to be ready? As I’m not sure if she’s stringing me along or wasting my time.

Just tell her that you understand and you’ll be there for her as a friend. Tell her that if it’s meant to be it will be but that you’re not going to push it and don’t want to waste either of our times.

I think that if someone isn’t ready then you need to start looking for someone else. I agree that relationship should develop at their own pace not rushing them or dragging them out.

She may be a nice person with good intentions. But don’t waste your time you don’t know how long it will be until she’s ready if she ever is.
