Be fair and tell her on a face-to-face basis and don't use the cowardly way to inform her through social media or texting.

It is not important who is at fault. The only decent way to tell somebody that the relation is over is to tell that future ex-partner in person. Sure, there will be crying but that the least she deserves.

But you will come out of that break up stronger because you showed that you have character and personality and did face the situation without failing. It is something that speaks in you favor and proves that you are a person that is not afraid of her responsibilities.
