So I go to an Albertsons by my house and I have a crush on one of the employees. I gave him some cookies with my phone number but he never texted me. I probably go in there too much. People tell me I should just ask him out directly but I’m so shy and nervous and it never seems to be the right time :(

I was in line with him last time and I asked how he was and he said pretty good shyly.

Where do I go from here? I have zero confidence that men can like me offline. So it’s so hard to put myself out there just to get rejected.

Are you indeed in the age group indicated in your profile? This behavior is more likely the one of a teenager than the one of an adult.

Perhaps he does not like cookies and did not see your number or he is simply not interested in contacting you or even too shy to do so.

Never ever start flirting with a person at his workplace. The employer is not giving a wage to his employees for that kind of activity. If you want to talk to him, then you have to do it in his free time.

Just wait for his shift to be over and wait by the staff entrance till he comes out but don't expect miracles. If he did not react till now, he is probably not going to like to be addressed directly by a customer.

It does indeed look creepy if you wait for him at work but otherwise you have no other options. You gave him your number and he did not react. Going to his place, if you know where he lives is even worse.

You could try to find out where he parks his car if the company has a staff parking and see if you just happen to be there when he comes out and start a casual chat.
