I gave a guy my number because he gave off vibes that he liked me. but he hasn’t reached out?

Okay, so I’ve been picking up this guy for a couple months now. One day I caught him fixing his hair before getting on the bus and finally making conversation with me. It was the first time he had talked to me since complimenting my beanie the first day I picked him up.

So I went into ace hardware for apartment stuff and he noticed me and welcomed me into the store. Every time I’m in there he says oh hey, and seems like a fairly shy guy. So I came up with a plan to give him my number and put my personality into it.

I built up the courage being shy myself and I finally gave him a letter with my number when I was at ace for some paint. I never have asked someone out like this before and made a homemade postcard. I love art so this is what I did. This is what I gave him and I haven’t seen him since. (It’s been 5 days)

The problem with shy people is neither one of them ever knows if the other person is attracted to them because they are both too damned shy to show it. Good job on being brave and that's a nice card, a sweet gesture. I would be impressed. Don't get your hopes up too high and don't feel too bad if he doesn't have enough balls to respond right away, though. That's shy people for you.

I know it sucks but he was either stringing you along or was with someone already and doesn't know what to do other than avoid you. It might also be because he's a bit shy and afraid like you stated before. I wouldn't get too hung up over him, I know you liked him but don't wait for someone who possibly won't come back even after you put all that time and effort into asking him out
