Guy approached me but didn’t ask for my number, is he just not interested anymore?

So a guy who id seen before on a trail came up to me today to chat. He had been looking at me with interest and I looked back a few times. Anyway, we had a short conversation where he asked me about myself but at the end he just told me his name and asked mine, shook my hand and left.. not sure if he’s just not interested just from the convo? I didn’t think I said anything that would show I wasn’t interested but could that be the case?

You never know. I've had convos with women on the trail (or elsewhere) then didn't ask for their number or make a move at all. I just didn't feel like it, and it's not obligatory. If they had asked, I would have been fine exchanging information. Actually, that happened a while back, I was talking with her and she was interesting and beautiful, but I had no intention of asking for her information or "making a move". Interestingly, word on the street is women are sick of men always doing that, so I stopped. They can ask for my info if they want it, and she did.

So maybe this guy got the hint from so many women talking about what creeps guys are asking for numbers, and decided he's not going to "be a creep"?

Lol let’s be real, a guy is not going to approach a woman to talk to her if he’s not attracted to her. Plus he had been staring at me previously. I have never been approached by a man who wasn’t attracted to me

It's mentioned that every time the condition will not be same. Yes many of them approach a woman due to attraction.

It's up to u if u don't want to loose a chance then give clear signals because we think that she is not interested if she gives mixed signals.

@mayurr I didn’t give mixed signals. We were simply having a conversation and I made plenty of eye contact and was interested in what he had to say, I know what mixed signals are and I wasn’t giving that.

You didnot gave clear signals to him so that he will talk to u more or ask for ur no.
Its not that easy for someone to ask for ur contact no. because results can be inverse.
If u dont give clear signal then he will think that u r not interested in him so he will not ask.
