I’ve been dating this guy since mid of November everything was going perfect however up until yesterday he showed me a screenshot of this fake hinge profile of myself I’ve tried so hard to convince him it’s not me, what makes it worse is that there’s gym quotes on there and clearly I go gym he asked me who else will know that you’re a gym girl but me. It’s so unfair I really like him but it’s so hard to make him trust me he simply said he doesn’t believe me I clearly don’t have an interest in anyone else. I’m hoping with time he knows I was telling the truth, he does have trust issues cause of his past but I haven’t done anything wrong which hurts so much, I don’t know if I should just give him space or time?

Aw girl, that really sucks. I'm sorry you're going through that with your guy. Him not trusting you, even though you haven't done anything wrong, must be so frustrating. Dealing with trust issues from past relationships is tough, I get that.

But it's not fair for him to just accuse you of having a fake dating profile, especially when you've been nothing but honest with him. The whole gym quote thing seems like a pretty weak excuse to not believe you. I mean, c'mon, anyone who knows you would know you're into fitness.

Honestly, I think you should give him some space, but also make it clear that you're there for him when he's ready to listen. Don't let him push you away or make you feel like you have to prove your loyalty. If he can't see how much you care after everything you've done, that's on him.

With time, hopefully he'll realize he's being unreasonable and come around. But you shouldn't have to wait forever for him to trust you, especially if you haven't done anything to break that trust. Stay strong, focus on yourself, and don't let his insecurities drag you down. You deserve someone who appreciates you fully. Wishing you the best, girl.
