Yes and no. Men who get friendzoned typically are men who do not have enough wherewithal to realize that woman is an emotional vampire. To make matters worse, it typically breaks this man's spirit because he thinks he's not attractive enough. When the reality is that woman is not attracted to ANY man. Only his attention. This would ULTIMATELY be the same result with ANY man. Now, some guys get better billing with her. And these are the guys typically that know what they want, go after it, take it, and do not give two 💩's about the destruction they leave in their wake. And this woman, with her toxic behavior, typically sees these men as strong and decisive.😆 These women are actually pretty funny to watch. But any guy with respect learn to recognize them, their patterns, and cut bait and walk away pretty quickly.

once you're in theirs no way out because if she enjoys your company and having you around but doesn't feel attracted to you that way there's nothing you can do because even at your best your still not enough for some reason. I was always good enough to be a shoulder to cry on and use as an emotional dumping ground but God forbid, I get invested and start to like and care about you when we have that dynamic and you're lonely.

Bare minimum it would be nice if woman wanted to at least be real friends. If I spend weeks up late at night almost every night helping comfort a crying woman I know and like fine I'll do it even if there's never any romantic attachment on her end because I care about them, but it would be a nice fucking change if they could at least be your friend after dumping their Trauma all over you. Instead, they get rid of you once they have what they needed then immediately jump under someone else and ditch you entirely as soon as she feels better and doesn't need to be comforted anymore.

My first love (Not my only and definitely not my greatest but she was my first) strung me along for months. I asked her out and she said yes then when I asked her about making plans, she said she had changed her mind and wasn't sure and now it was a maybe, but I was willing to take a maybe because I really liked and cared about her.

So for months we talk on the phone more nights than not every week she calls me at or after midnight on school days and I listen to her cry for hours and re asure her and try to make her feel cared about and like she matters and then three months later once she starts doing better and didn't need my support anymore you know what she did? She hooked up with one of my best friends and dumped me like a sack of shit and ignored me from then on. She wasn't even my friend anymore I felt used and abused I still do sometimes.

In the end the joke was on her because once they started having sex that becam, e the only part my "Friend" cared about and when she told him he wasn't meeting her emotional needs he decided she was more work than her body was worth and dumped her. He did the same thing to another girl I know and used to have a minor crush on too. The fucked-up part is he wasn't even close to my worst "Friend."
