I did a painting of this guy yesterday. (little Peep.) And like I think he is gorgeous I love a guy with style. I love tattoos. I love unique people. But people around me, like work colleagues, take one look and say he looks rough or bad.
To be honest most guys I end up are bad boys! Ugh! But I love the style!
Let me tell you this.
Physical attractiveness is mostly objective, but style is subjective.
How is this related? There are people with certain attractive facial features, but their style (hairstyle, cloths etc.) are considered offensive by some.
This guy in the picture has an okay (ish) facial attraction; I would give him a 5/10, but his hair, facial expression, tattoos make him look aggressive, which is why some people think he looks bad.
I think little Peep was a good guy in his personal life, did have issues with drugs obviously but still. Sometimes the ones with a bad boy look have a good heart
I know! He reminds me of kids in school that "don't fit" because the conventional ways are not right for unique individuals and he obviously had talent both in song writing and creativity. a lot of these individuals end up being told they are no good and dumb by the system and end up on drugs and criminals.
But most people have potential and at least start of with a good heart.
I'm attracted to that potential mix with creativity and vulnerability and I admire people that go against conventional norms of appearance. I had urges to be a emo-rock persona when I was teens but never brave enough to show it publicly.

Lack of self control. Overemphasis on individuality and selfishness over the traditional idea that one owed something to society and family that was more important than one's self. Greed: the idea that you must have everything that you desire instead of prioritizing according to what is best for your long term.
Of course when you live in a society of people patting you on the back for your choices, regardless of how they impact society, family or yourself you will be strongly tempted to continue on said course.
Teenage girls often like the "bad boy" image. But for heaven sake, Crimsyjo, your profile says you're 45 years old! Maybe it's time to change your criteria and look for someone who is responsible and caring, someone you can settle down with, someone whom you can take seriously and see him as someone you'd like to spend your life with! Maybe it's time to leave behind the fun and games! You know, none of us is getting our of here alive! Every one of us has an expiration date! We just, hopefully, don't know when that will be. Maybe it's time to think a little more seriously. Do you really want to waste your life? Do you want ultimately to leave this world and it will be as though you never were here?

I've had a fantastic life (not without hardship but overall) but I'm not dead yet lol. So what do you mean leave fin and games behind? That's what makes life living?
I met a man at 19, we travelled extensively, we settled down with and had children. But 12 years later it didn't work out. As usual guess who gets left raising the children?
Now my children are teenagers... I am starting to re-emerge from a single life staying at home and doing all the dutiful things.
So now I want love and a man for myself. But where are they? It's been over a year searching for a decent man who is also young at heart, adventurous and fun like me.
In the meantime I'm drawn to the fun, unique, energetic and stylish vibe of guys under 30.
The picture is just a flippant example as I recently feel drawn to little Peep as an artist but his story is sad and his vibe of vulnerability hidden behind bravado is what I see in a lot of young men. And probably a mirror of myself too. Ok not probably.
What you do you call a waste of life? I feel like going to work, watching tv, talking with friends here and there for years and years like the people i see around me a dull boring life with nothing to show for it.
When I was with my husband we travelled all of America, Europe, Egypt. Went in helicopters and paragliding and dog sledding in Canada. It's not exactly fun to do those things without a partner.
And sex! Good sex that is full of fire and passion! And bdsm. I guess if I exist.. and I don't think I'm a bad person.. there must be good guys who can be a mix of naughty but good. But the only ones like that are young guys. They are cute and funny, sensitive but also full of sexual wonder and fire. Don't get me wrong.. I am getting older so I'm aware. But how can I find a guy when nothing I've tried is working and waiting feels like a waste of my current youthfulness and energy? (I'm a student, work, go gym, social activities, cafes, classes and bars)
Because, you're that person who goes to the grocery store and does not open the carton of eggs before you take it home. You waste your money on a carton of eggs that has cracked eggs in it. You also don't check the expiration date on steak. And when you cook the steak, you think, damn this tastes like weak-old steak. I must be a horrible cook. Maybe it's time you take up another hobby, something you're actually good at like baking those pre-mixed cookies, something that's really hard to screw up.

Because they appear weak, broken and lost. And you think deep down they are small wounded baby chicken. And you think you can fix then.

"They are broken. But I can fix them !"
Or you think they are full of testosterone and they are more masculine because they look "bad" and they appear more violent and you associate violent with having more testosterone and therefore having better, more dominant and more passionate sex.
This is what I would think.

It's a game of choice, isn't it. You need to feel empowered to choose the qualities you want and feel attracted to. Nothing wrong in finding a unique person appealing. And guy with tattoos can be a beautiful person as well. I never judge a person.
Yeah tattoos are very expressive these days and all sorts of people have them. Not just bad boys/girls.
As for qualities? It's very hard to see if someone triely has loyalty, commitment, honesty etc etc from dating apps and meeting. But real-world opportunities like meeting at work or through friends where you get to see character traits over a time period just doesn't seem to be a thing anymore!
I keep thinking I need a new job. Where I will come in contact with more men in a natural setting. But my current job has some perks- like no bosses there weekends so I can study. And Sunday quiet enough I can work with a hang over and very little sleep lol

I'm sorry but I question the intelligence of anyone who puts a permanent mark on their face when all over the world people treat you worse because of it.
I like his story. He was into his music. But cracking music industry is super hard. So to motivate himself not to give up he got a face tattoo, in his own words "because I knew that would make getting a regular job more difficult". He got "cry baby" on his face to as something his mum would say and again to motivate himself when looking in the mirror. To be strong and not a cry baby. When things get tough.
I can admire his strength and determination.
He was also an introvert and got into drugs to cope with anxiety. But then ugh as is usual in music and rap circles he got surrounded by enablers of c. So sad. Life wasted cos of drugs!
He had strong ambitions but a poor judgement (as most do) and got his life screwed up because of not being able to say "no." I have been offered meth and all kinds of fucked up things but I turned them down.
If he wanted inner strength, he should not have remembered shaming language his mom used but instead looked within.
He does have a charming story but I don't believe he made his decisions very wisely. His life though, not mine.
Aww of course. He was a young guy misguided and yes made poor choices. His story certainly isn't the first or last. And he paid the ultimate price already.
Sadly... as I was saying about being attracted to men who need rescuing- I find my empathy for them makes me weak and I usually end up hurt. Just once would be nice to be successful in helping someone come of a doomed path of self destruction!

I have tried numerous times to pull people out of pits they put themselves into and I don't think it has worked even once. The closest I have gotten is encouraging a friend to hang on until it got better, then it eventually did.
