There are plenty of obvious reasons a woman may do this. Career, status, lifestyle. Or maybe she's using him to make another guy jealous or get close to the other guy. Maybe she is incredibly needy and can't stand being alone. The guy is just a placeholder until something better comes along. Maybe she's the only unmarried woman in her friend group and she doesn't want to be THAT GIRL everyone pities. So she chose you, LOL. Who knows why people do what they do.
