Do you and your partner have your own codes and or secret signals that you use at parties or when you're around family and friends to communicate just to each other, like if you tap your nose, it means you're ready to go or you're getting irritated with your toxic mom.

Yeah. There's "the look" or some internal joke or expression that only we know. I think it's just something natural that happens between two people who are super close. Same happens with me and family members or very close friends.

My friends were telling me that when they go to meet a certain group of friends that are a bit younger than them, it gets to be a bit much because they are older and have other priorities, so even if they are across the room, and she or he is done for the night, they'll rub their eye brow so they know either or both wants to leave.
