Am I in a relationship?

He asked me how I want him to call me and I said I want him to call me his girlfriend and he said “Alright” and kissed me. Does that mean I am in a relationship? Have been single for a while and don’t remember how it works 😂

SOUNDS  like it...  But  couch this on how long you've known this person and what you've done together... Have you been dating. Going out together to events, to lunch, visiting each others' homes, introduced to each others' friends and families in casual situations... Has all this gone on already?  IF NOT , then the name "girlfriend" doesn't mean much. Don't paste a name on yourself and expect it to  MEAN  there's a relationship when one doesn't exist.  And, how long have you known each other? If it's three weeks... unlikely. If it's three months, OK.  Time and your experience of the other person. Are YOU satisfied about the level of knowledge and closeness you feel for them? Are you comfortable about what you've revealed of yourself TO them... And will you introduce them to everyone you meet as your significant other, no matter what the name is you prefer to denote him as.

You guys travel together, so I'm assuming you know him well enough that you've been on several dates with the man. Hopefully meet at least one of his friends and he's meet one for yours?

There's nothing wrong with needing reassurance tho. You can either ask him if he meant what he said and understands that you guys are together now. Or if you're feeling shy (tho you shouldn't because he's yours) go on a double date and introduce him as your boyfriend. If he doesn't see himself that way he will clarify.

If he object either way I would bow out.

No way Jose not for me women are too much of a bother I gave up on that. In the 90s somewhere else so it's been about what 30 years for me. I don't miss it not really sometimes but there's p*** for that. Which are too much work women having easier. I'm not big it's better just to give up.
