I am 100% for guys dating younger women. Men mature more slowly. Men often have to take some years to develop their careers, get a good financial foundation, develop some "game", get more confidence, become more charming.

Women just have to be pretty and sweet and that is basically all and I guy will be interested.

Women's reproductive window is much smaller so they need to get going when they are younger. Guys can father children much later in life.

Most women like experienced men and don't mind them having some sexual past. They are drawn to how good he is with women (charm, confidence, rizz).

Most guys are grossed out by a woman's sexual past (if they are considering a long term thing and falling in love).

Also, men age like Sean Connery and women age like... Sean Connery.

All of these factors point to many women going for older guys and guys going for younger women.

That being said, 38 and 17, that is pushing it a little too far. A 38 year old and a 24 year old sounds fine.

In short.
First, Legal here. I myself dated a 26 year old when I was 17. That was fine to me back then.

Second, I still would not. I acknowledge reality and circumstances may shift things around a little but I believe it would remain a reasonably firm no regardless.

Third, ten years older me? He better not. Even if I want someone younger or something I could at least let their age reach the point of starting with a 2 and not a 1.
