Why did women stop dating skinny men , what made them unappealing?

Girls tend to want a fellow who is sturdy-looking and can “protect and defend” them and possibly their future family. It’s just instinctive. But I’ve seen skinny guys get girls as well bc they’re tall and seem to ignite that protective vibe in shorter girls.

35 & see loads daily with women in supermarket/high Street even if I don't kw them personally.

Are the odds of finding a woman who doesn't have very strict body standards really so low, lower than 0.5% of all the women in your area? The odds are higher here of finding a woman who would date a trans man! Yet their standards where you are are also very often low enough to date junkies? That is so strange. I'm glad I don't have to worry about all that. I would be so worried I would start dating a woman and then find out she is shallow and into drugs, I don't want to date anyone like that.

That over 99% of women in an area would have very strict body standards about something as common as being slim, but have no issue with drug abuse, which is quite serious and can even be deadly. I've known a woman who was very shallow like that for body, but she was a druggie herself which was the reason she was okay with a man being on drugs. I've never known a woman around here who doesn't do drugs who would be okay with her partner doing them. Maybe drugs abuse is also way more common where you live?

Where are you from in the world? I personally think drug abuse is on a continuous rise , but I also think it's problems that have been getting worse for years that a majority of humans don't care about.

I live in Midwest America. I thought drug use was going down slowly overall, but maybe it has spiked up some again recently. I don't really know any druggies anymore so I'm not very informed about their communities, and when I looked it up just now a government site says drugs are the #1 cause of young-middle aged adults in my state... Maybe I just happen to know all the people in my entire city who aren't druggies and don't date them, but I really doubt that. I think a lot of women here would date a slim man far before she would date someone who does drugs.
