Not all men are obsessed with skinny women. Some prefer "thick" women.

We all have the things that turn us on and, for the most part, we never made a conscious choice to be attracted or not attracted to a particular feature. Some guys are attracted to petite girls with skinny bodies, small boobs, and a small butt, and if you ask them to explain why they are attracted, they can't. Some guys are attracted to plump women with big boobs and if you ask for an explanation, all they do is repeat that they are attracted to plump women with big boobs.

Maybe we are born with those preferences already determined and just waiting to be expressed, maybe it happens based on the basis of early childhood experiences, doesn't really matter.

Feel more powerful with a tiny woman I'd geuss, same reason most men prefer some short that barely comes up to their chest.

I'd geuss the thought of easily being able to lift, carry or hold some tiny 120 lbs girl is appealing, makes him feel dominant, plus it might be more fun/east to "move" her around in bed.

I like my girls a bit more on the chubby side tbh, maybe cause I dont feel any need to be "dominant", I dont want to have a little "baby girl" I want to date a woman.

I have a similar body to the photo and I am soooooo insecure. My friends are all curvy and they always get hit on. Whenever we take photos together I feel like my shoulders and my breasts are so petite and I am basically just insecure. Show me a man who likes a girl with a body like that and is 5"7 for real.

I'm built like the girl in the photo and have been that way my whole life and can't gain weight no matter how much I eat. The most I weighed was 140 while I was eating 8000 calories per day. If a girl isn't skinny like me she looks like an alien to me, it's so different than me, I feel no attraction at all.

I honestly don't think that it's the skinny aspect. More of the fit aspect. Skinny can look gross. Plus most of my guy friends prefer thicker. Some of them consider me too skinny.

The reason is due to Hollywood and other media sources. They tend to decide what is attractive and really push that view through the media. Here recently they have been pushing a body positivity thing so more roles are going to bigger women. Sadly they push what is attractive and not whats healthy so it ends up with people having body image problems and eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. Personally I like healthy body's (meaning not particularly skinny or chubby) I don't care much as long as I know they're healthy. Though I care more about long term rather than short term when it comes to relationships.

None of the men I know, or have ever dated has expressed an interest in skinny women.
I might add, skinny to me means they are all bone. And that’s how a lot of people are. Skinny doesn’t mean someone thin, very slim with very little body fat.

It could be that there are so many heavy-weight women that seeing a skinny woman isn't common. I've read that in Roman days overweight women were obsessed over. Most all the women were skinny and seeing an overweight woman wasn't common.
