3.9K opinions shared on Dating topic. Yeah, why not? It's not like you're MEETING your celebrity crush...
Funny story... My gran would always tell my gramps she crushed on Patrick Swayze (RIP). Gramps would of course feel all ruffled and look over his paper at her. "WHYY?" he would ask, the little sizzle of jealousy sparking even after their 50+ years of marriage, which was ADORABLE bc HE used to be considered "a player"... She would smile and say "Bc he looks like you when we first met." He'd put his paper down and took her hand. And for Valentine's Day he got her the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack for her, playing the record and learning "Time of My Life" and "She's Like the Wind" to serenade her every Saturday morning.

@Jay-_- Ok, man. Think what you like. I don't mean actors aren't human, obviously. If you're ACTIVELY worried your gal is going to seek out and fuck her celebrity crush then that's a mental issue you need to overcome. 95% of society is not thinking that way about their celebrity crush.
You want to motorboat JLo, for example... Ain't gonna happen. Your gal's not worried about that. - 1 y
I don't know if you read a word I said seems like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed so I'm not gonna entertain this but if you missed it I know people who've slept crush and were in serious relationship so you can say what you want but you can't argue with statistics. Just because it won't happen to you doesn't mean it's okay đ

1 yYes! As long as youâre not insulting him and comparing him to that man. Men also dream of celebrities and many even insult their wives. Women are also allowed to think of dreamy guys. If they canât accept that women can also like handsome men, they need to level up. If only men are visual, can they explain the existence of hot men? Theyâre brainwashing women so they face less pressure.

Even if I had a celebrity crush, I just have to wonder for what reason I would divulge/keep mentioning that to my partner. Non of the reasons I'm coming up with are good. Plus if my partner is taller/stronger build and I keep commenting how hot that petite Asian girl is, more likely then not it's gonna do damage, I can tell you that.

1 yIt still is emotionally cheating to me. To be interested in someone other then your partner. Especially if you fantasized about acting on it. If a opportunity came up most people would act on it
222 Reply- 1 y
You really think your partner would cheat on you with her celebrity crush? đđđđ
- 1 y
@orange_roach well a lot of people would man or women if they couldâŠ. But I would find someone who has integrity and that I could trust.
If I was worried about someone cheating I would just break it off - 1 y
Youâre seriously worried about your partner cheating on you with a celebrity when said celebrity doesnât know your partner exists? Either youâre really this paranoid or youâre trolling.
- 1 y
I mean come on. Weâre talking about celebrities. You knowâŠpeople who donât know you or I are alive. And how many stories have you heard where a normal person cheated on their partner with a celebrity?
- 1 y
@orange_roach not many but the point is hypothetically even if a opportunity did come up you would want to trust your partner has the integrity to never do it.
Also⊠most celebrities I wouldnât touch with a ten foot pole. Do you donât gotta worry about me - 1 y
@orange_roach I don't think its necessarily cheating lile physically. i mean, how would you feel if your partner fantasized about someone else while you're living with them? You shouldn't have eyes for someone else when you have your partner
- 1 y
@MaxW1 I agree with that
- 1 y
You do realize none of the celebrities know you or your partner exists, right? They donât even know youâre alive.
- 1 y
@orange_roach again itâs just the fancying someone. That is the issue besides your partner
- 1 y
@MaxW1 the thing is if Iâm loyal to someone only wanting herâŠ. I donât think itâs too much to want the same
- 1 y
I like to know how many couples actually broke up because they found out their partner had celebrity crushes.
- 1 y
@orange_roach some I would assume.
- 1 y
@MaxW1 I feel like y'all are trolling me
- 1 y
@orange_roach Iâm not lol.
- 1 y
@orange_roach you just donât want my honest opinion you want the answer you want to hear
- 1 y
Because I never heard anyone have this much issue. Nor have I ever heard anyone say having a celebrity crush is considered as emotionally cheating. Thatâs a new one because half of society have celebrity crushes.
- 1 y
@orange_roach well a lot of people cheat physically too and think itâs okay
- 1 y
If having a celebrity crush is considered cheating, then letâs push it as such. Make it more well known. That way a lot more people can end their relationships.
- 1 y
@orange_roach still not changing my answer
- 1 y
Thatâs why I said to make it well known so that way people can break up with their partners.
- 1 y
@orange_roach I mean true

Anonymous(36-45)1 yI give you kudos for asking yourself this question. Most women who have celebrity crushes just plow straight ahead with it regardless of what their partner thinks.
Anyway most guys have just accepted that women are like this. As long as you arenât a âdirect access to groupieâ to a famous person then I donât see a problem with it.
But remember this is just a fantasy. You can waste a lot of time, mental effort, etc. indulging in fantasies. There is an anon program called SLAA that deals with it.
13 Reply- 1 y
Thatâs addiction support. Alon is for people with loved ones that have addiction
Opinion Owner1 y@blackeagle007 I belong to a co-ed SLAA and I know exactly what itâs for.
Not saying sheâs at that point. If she was she would never even think about asking a question like this. In fact she would cheat the first chance she got if she ran into a celebrity if she was a sex fantasy addict. But I donât think she is.- 1 y
I donât think you know though. I know a little better
1 yI don't think it's really a crush. Like I say I have a crush on Markiplier, but I don't know him. We may not be compatible, I don't even want to meet him, I just like him. My boyfriend has a has thing for Mirajane from Fairy tail, and she's not even real.
12 Reply- 1 y
Whoâs mirajane?
- 1 y
@blackeagle007 She's one of the characters from an Anime named Fairy tail preview.redd.it/...iscussion-v0-ii4cfseuk6jc1.jpeg
She Normally just works in the guild hall being a waitress, with a very happy and bubbly personality. But she has strong magical powers that allow her to transform into a demon.
1.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. My opinion will be against the trend , that's because I don't think it's reasonable to lust after some celebrity , if you lust after them you can lust after someone who looks like them.
So , if actually committed to your relationship then it's simply not a good idea , even though you will never meet them , because that may just happen.
And throws into doubt , who is she thinking of while the boyfriend is fcking her? It's not good.21 Reply- 809 opinions shared on Dating topic.
1 yI mean I don't know if I would necessarily say "okay", but it doesn't hurt since you're not going to meet them.. Hell, people in relationship have crushes on someone they know IRL, and never do anything but gaze from afar.. Not that that's a great thing.

like i think ian somerhalder is hot but i DON'T fantasize the dude or wanna date him. doesn't mean i'll talk about my celeb crushes in front of the guy im dating bc that feels rude00 Reply 514 opinions shared on Dating topic. Sure. A crush is just a lack of information. I doubt many people would sincerely be willing to cheat with the celebrity crush. If they do, it might just be any given person.
10 Reply935 opinions shared on Dating topic. We evolved to be serial monogamous creatures. Our capacity for attraction doesn't stop just because we act out commitment. The body doesn't really know or care that you're committed.
