Believe it or not, the HEART and SOUL of a person are more important than whether he's pretty or average looking.

True story: I got a call a couple of weeks ago from a lady who knows me and my recent ex very well. She's at his place. He's with his brother and mom getting ready for a trip. She calls me once he and his brother leave and she's alone with his mom. She asks, "Have you ever met the BROTHER? HEEEEE is GORGEOUS."

I chuckle and tell her, yes I've heard that from his brother, who apparently has lost quite a few women to his gorgeous elder brother.

She says "You HAVE to meet him. OMG, I can TOTALLY see you with THIS guy."

Now I laugh and tell her it's ok. I think I'll just keep my distance from the brothers. I don't care so much if the guy has a pretty face. I care about whether he has a pretty soul and heart.

She answered "AAAAAH, yes yes, ok."

(I heard a weird sound at that moment... The guy's mom was tuned in and liked what I was saying. We ended up chatting for 20/30 min. Oh well. She should know her boys are players...)

Either they're not just going after looks or their perception of attractiveness simply doesn't match yours. Or both.

Attraction is very subjective everyone is different and looking for different things every human being is unique as well. While many people tend to blend together everyone has unique traits that may allure or on the other hand repulse certain people.
