Why am I happy being single?

In my mid thirties, I’ve had more attention from men than ever before in my life (in person); and yet I seem to feel content with being single. Although I sometimes feel attraction to men and some level of interest.

Because relationships with the wrong people are draining mentally, physically, spiritually, and in every other way possible. They just drain you of your time, energy, financially, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, sexually, romantically, and literally everything. It’s so much more peaceful being alone just knowing if the right person is meant to be they will be.

It’s okay to feel happy as well as eventually find someone who you genuinely are attracted to. I feel like you want someone to love you the way you love them someone who also pours their heart into you not just one sided. When you start to feel attraction for someone go for it if you start not feeling it just break it off. Don’t waste your time or the time of someone else.

Because you know everything you have to put in to a relationship. And right now your happy being you and getting the attention your getting with. out the rest of it...

When your ready. You will be ready . and enjoy life and yourself the way you are right now

I see that you're content. You don't have to worry about getting up in the middle of the night, able to cuddle that child. Because of the Boogeyman coming to wake them up in the middle of the night. Or being able to talk out your frustrations with somebody because of the day somebody was being a butt at work. Or being able to console your companion because of their frustrations. Everybody needs somebody. Because they're lonely. Sometimes you just need to hold somebody's hand to make them feel better. Sometimes you just need to be a friend away from everything. Being content sometimes is not being enough in our lives. I too love being alone. But I do have a companion and that companion loves me and cares for me and I have children and grandchildren. I'm a strong introvert and I like to be alone. But there are those times and moments that I am down and I need somebody to hold me and care for me. So everybody does need somebody.

I can relate. I think you get to the age where you're realistic about what's out there. I get more attention from women now than I ever have in my life. But I to feel little reason to change my single status.
