Why does body count matter so much to some guys?

I have always been a firm believer that body count doesn’t matter when it comes to a woman. But I have seen so many guys say that’s a deal breaker for them.

I mean think of it this way... Do you want someone who's been with the equivalency of a baseball field? Or perhaps someone who's been with all your friends? No. Of course not. There are heath risks being with that girl and chances are she's also plain old nuts. A girl who needs THAT MUCH validation is also not going to MAGICALLY be ok when she meets you, man.

All the "it's just a number" arguments fail... Age matters... (biologically, folks "age out" of being able to provide kids and such at the very least; or they're not mentally mature yet to have kids); size matters... (the snatch is too loose from overuse or the joystick doesn't cut muster... neither of those is pleasant); body count matters... (Save the "ho ho ho" for Santa, man. It's one thing to take a second or third chance at love, but quite another to be with the male/female equivalent of Aspasia (most famous prostitute of all time)...)

I think there are lots of reasons.

To start, the anitquated idea that men are breeders by nature and it's acceptable for them to have man ypartners. But, women are expected to be with one person, mate and be mothers, homemakers.

Then, there are men who maybe don't have a high body count and are intimidated by someone that is much more experienced than them. Also, related to that is the fact that some lesser endowed guys feel that the more guys are girl has been with may increase the odds that she has experienced more well endowed guys than them.

I don't know, to some I guess it can be a sign of moral integrity or whatever, and that is a barometer they use when considering someone as a potential partner.

I was raised like this really. I was raised as a christian so this is deeply ingrained in me.

Being in a relationship is the constant advertisement of why someone should be valued over other people. If someone was easy to access then there's really nothing special about getting with them. There are many other implications that have real negative consequences like the likelihood of sexual diseases or accidental childbirth out of wedlock, issues with pair-bonding, etc.

For instance, the thought of being in a relationship with this woman gives me a feeling of disgust like no other. It's primal. I would fuck her if she's free of disease but I could never wife her up. My mind sees her as nothing more than what she advertises herself as. And object for male pleasure:

They know there will eventually be someone who’s in such denial about the whole thing that will settle for them


You want a practical reason:
No matter what sex position you come up with and how much you put effort into it she probably did it already with someone who was better than you
It’s not because you’re bad but because it’s statistically impossible to be the best at everything
