What I mean by that is, are we emphasizing a largely irrelevant superstition? Now that we've made such a big stink over the supposed 'appropriate' number of partners an average woman should have, I think most women nowadays probably underreport the number of male lovers they've had, lest they risk being morality shamed, etc.
6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Girls are as horny as boys when they hit puberty. And they are naturally curious. They fantasize about boys. It seems normal for them to want to experience their new, adult bodies.
When I was in 8th grade in 1968, some of the girls in my class were already experienced. A few of them had boyfriends in high school. Those girls had become women. I was 14 at the time and was still a kid, but I still had crushes and fantasized.
When I entered high school in the fall of 1969, it was obvious that most of the girls I met were familiar with sex and had a mature, matter of fact attitude.
Guys looked down on low class, skanky girls who were eager to have sex with anything in pants.
But girls with high self-respect and self-esteem and were picky about who they dated were valued for their sexuality. If a girl like that agreed to be a guy's girlfriend, he valued her sexuality. The last thing he cared about was her virginity.
A couple might be infatuated and go steady for a long time. But few at that age had the means or desire to get married. They just wanted to experience life to the fullest.
Female "purity" is such a stupid thing to value. It's not like a vagina gets damaged by sex. It doesn't become unclean. Contrary to biased, right-wing studies, a girl who has sex with more than one partner in her life doesn't not become less capable of "bonding" with a mate.
The "pill" first became available in 1960. By the time I was in high school, many girls were taking it. In fact, it was available at what we called "free clinics". That was the age of women's liberation.
Before the pill, both girls and boys had to worry about unwanted pregnancy. By the late 1960s, kids could get into sexual relationships, experiment with their sexuality, and learn about relationships. It was a way of preparing for adulthood. They didn't have to get trapped into marriage because of unplanned pregnancy like kids in previous generations. No shotgun weddings.
When a guy had a job and felt that he was prepared to get married and start a family, he assessed his girlfriend's personality, character and values through their interactions. But there was none of this nonsense about caring about her virginity. This "body count" thing didn't come about until decades later with the internet.
I think men's concern with female sexuality is a result of human history before contraception when men were concerned about paternity. And some guys have the historic attitude that predates the 1970s. A lot of that has been ingrained through ancient, patriarchal, religious teachings.
Women's sexuality should not be shamed. It should be celebrated.

Nice. I was the polar opposite of where you, along with most guys apparently are. I consciously sought out the more attractive (whi h, in my book means 'Not too skinny') specifically because I knew they were sexually active, and despite being too young to have a realistic shot at bedding them, I eagerly became their informal errand boy and all around simp servant.

Opinion Owner1 yDo Guys Have The 'Body Count' Issue Backwards?
Yes, if you mean that guys usually lie when they say they have had sex with more women than it actually happened.

1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. They do have it backwards in the way of its extremely dirty for men to sleep with multiple women throughout thier lifetime because they cannot be tested properly for all stds and many men don't get tested at all in general for the ones they can be tested for. Women at least stay clean and get tested regularly
12 Reply- 1 y
@Avicenna sadly its not. I've heard it straight from mens mouths that other men are dirty and thats why they dont want a woman with multiple previous partners. They think in their head that they can just find a "clean" partner so they dont have to do any testing themselves. I've even had to inform a few men about how condoms do not prevent the spread of hpv/herpes (hpv being the main one men can't be tested for to). Its for real scary and something i wish was nonsense because they are spreading deadly diseases without a care

1 yWow.
We have a weak simp here. Joining up with the promiscuous women trying to shame men from having their 100% normal and natural ICK reaction to women that sleep around and give it up to lots of random men and risk disease by letting lots of men cum inside her.
ICK!!!
That is fucking gross.
Men with standards RIGHTLY do not want to marry such women.
You are free to be the biggest simp you can by rushing out and trying to make a girlfriend out of these damaged women who probably have father issues and herpes.
Women rightly get the ick when they perceive a man is not a leader, a provider, is weak and clingy.
Men rightly get the ick when we know a woman is ran through.
Men who know what they are doing will have no problem discerning if a girl was chaste or not if they really want to know.
31 Reply 3.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Most girls don't "under report" because if you could get sex just with opening the windows and whistle, trivial sex would lose its magic and positive self evaluation potential in your perception.
The value of trivial sex is probably most common misconceptions of men who don't have a ton of admirers.
Of course there are girls with huge sexual partner portfolio and are proud about that, however I think partially it's based on their desire to show superiority over the group of men I mentioned above.00 Reply- 1.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yNope, a slut is a slut, no man means anything to her. Sex isn't anything special, it's just another way to get high. The whole thing is nothing but a job anyway , love and romance are an illusion because reproduction is always an ulterior motive. It's the the real reason you're even in the relationship to begin with. That's where the whole protect and provide thing comes from, that's what men do on the job. Your wife spits out as many babies as she can, that's what she does on the job. It's not as if thots know this, it's just that their crude brains can't even get far enough to take on the task. It's not as if they'd be able to think beyond their crotch or much of anything really.

@wolfcat87 You're right, it's to raise them as well. But the main thing is that they get born. Parents are expendable once the offspring are mature enough to make it on their own.
1.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. If you think that past behaviour is not an indicator of potential future behaviour then sure the whole thing is "superstitious".
But if you've ever met someone who gets a kick out of drinking alcohol, taking drugs, fighting, stealing, (basically addictive behaviours where hormonal rewards are given by the body for external stimulation behaviours) then maybe it's actually a GOOD thing that men are wary of this. That's IF you deem intimacy between two people in committed relationships as important which it seems a lot of high BC types seem to regard as an irrelevance because "they've had that phase" and are over it.

The most illogical part of your argument is that every behavior listed can be done by people who never become addicted. Addiction is more about genetics and coping skills than about the action performed. Doing something in the past does not mean doing it in the future.
I do agree that men are more likely to become addicted to sex and should not sleep around. There's a reason women are so wary of men and their high risk behaviors...
Honestly my body count is relatively low but even lower when I only count the ones that made me cum. Lower still when they can producers aftershocks!!!

1 yThese days we shame people for being virgins. We need to go back to the time where sluts and sleeping around losers were shamed.
Most people don't know that divroce liklihood increases with the woman's bodycount , much exponentially than men. So don't marry whores and ruin your life because Hollywood said so.

I'm drunk but these are facts
Anonymous(30-35)1 yMy body count is two. Both long term relationships. 6 month of dating before anything sexual.
I would NEVER allow a man to touch me that has no self-control. If he needs two hands to count his bodies... he can fuck all the way off!
It's funny these guys, usually red pill men, think a woman with a low body count would want them after they've been doing plate spinning. 😆

1 ywell it's an undeniable fact that on average a higher number of previous partners correlates with a reduction in marital duration. women lying about it doesn't make it wrong to want them to have fewer previous partners.
30 Reply 2.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Men aren't stupid. Or at least, I'm not. Most people are completely transparent once you to get know them a little. Lying is also not a good basis for any kind of relationship.
00 Reply1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I don't know most 30ish or up women aren't virgins so it's unrealistic to hold a woman of that age to those standers. I understand wanting a woman who doesn't get with another man until the current relationship is done and over with.
00 Reply555 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I still say that calling sex partners "body count" is grossly disrespecting serial and spree killers. These women have never killed anyone. They don't have a body count.

1 yWomen will lie about everything in order to maintain an image. Men need to find ways of exposing the truth in order to vet a woman if he is to consider her for a relationship. It's no different than women shit testing men.

I know, right? News flash -- it's a hundred times easier for a woman to get sex than it is for guys... and we're supposed to be offended because they've been getting busy? Like many other things today, it's neither the count, the amount or the Dollar Discount, but rather, our dogged determination to turn over every stone and look around every corner, on our neurotic obsession with trying our best, all day every day, to be offended by something or other.
