I was once, because of my age. I went out with two guy friends to a bar, because they have good food. three of us met 3 young ladies. the ladies were my friends ages, I am older. we all had a great night, joking, talking and fun bar stuff. at the end couples formed and the other s left. I was left with Kathy, she was bummed and disappointed. that kind of hurt. long story short, I made it up to her by flying her to Florida for the weekend. her friends were jealous.

Nope. I don't stay where I'm not wanted. I have helped the "last man standing" in similar situations to connect with another person at the party/event.
