Would you ask your girlfriend to exercise if you saw that she's out of shape?

I'd ask her to exercise WITH YOU and not mention that she's out of shape. You want to achieve your goal without making the other person feel bad. I did that with my last boyfriend. We were very active indoors (ahem), but he also traveled quite a lot for work and therefore consumed a lot of junk food. Eventually that started catching up with him. So I suggested he help me walk to the market... and complimented him on the level of weights he could lift when we were in the little gym in his building. Etc. And of course I knew I had to work off my winter calories as well, so I'd hop onto the elliptical and he'd (jokingly) complain that I was distracting him so I'd look over my shoulder, smile and go a little faster.

I'm just saying... make it fun so she has incentive to do it, ok? Life is already a pain in the tush. No need to add criticism from loved ones to it.

I would ask my man what happened that he is losing his condition... I would help him to assess his health by doctors and gather recommendations... and if he wanted me... I would motivate and help him with everything he wanted me to...

Not because of her shape
But because exercise is cool and a nice habit to have that leads to a healthier daily life in general.


I wouldn't “make” her train with me


But I would definitely entice her to get into it for herself

I'd just say we could both enjoy walking together or doing physical things together like walks, bowling, physical activity. Doesn't have to mean dumbbells or treadmills or even whatever else yoga

I'd lose my shit if a man ever said that to me you never know what she's been through ans she might have body issues or eating issue you don't know about so tread lightly and be prepared to be left or punched
