Would you exercise with your partner to help her to get in shape?

My girlfriend is a bit overweight and out of shape and doesn't feel good about it but doesn't really have a motivation to workout by herself.

So I invited her to join in my morning runs and also do some couple exercises together (like sit-ups, squats, burpees etc.). She agreed.

Is it a good idea?

Would you exercise with your partner to help her to get in shape?
