In the link you can see a typical redditor arguing how it's ok for a 30 year old woman to date an older man but not an 18 year old woman because they are vulnerable and manipulated. A user explained how he had good experiences with a 19 year old when he was in his 30s and explained it was a good experience for both of them, while thei user started making up things like how he is a manipulator and creep for no reason. A lot of people fetishize age gap relationships more then trying to build a connection with someone. Some age gap relationships work because two people are just right for one another so long as nobody’s underage. But it depends on the situation.

Being in my 30s now I look back at the big age gap relationship I had in my early twenties and I feel kind of disgusted tbh (he was 46), so I’d have to side with her. I think that this is one of those scenarios where everything is clear in hindsight but most guys it seems who are interested in these scenarios are just in it for the sex. In my opinion on many other levels there is just not room for connection due to age difference.

'Reddit' would have to be one of the most, if not THE most, dysfunctional sites on the net. I was banned twice from it for simply going against the prevailing orthodoxy over there. They don't allow freedom of expression at all, and since that's the case, why should anyone even bother with it?
