He dated many people, but it didn't work out. I mean he had many exes. But I've never dated anyone. by the way why man date someone for some years and then marry someone else , will he do it with me too?

Older men are manipulative of younger women for sure and they love to target them, I would say just be careful the age gap is not that big, I know one who was 25 and was going out with a 15 which is creepier in the end do what make you feel comfortable

A five year age difference is nothing and extremely common. He is not an old man, a man of 55 might be considered an old man. If you both put in the required effort the relationship should work out. Where I come from the woman that are in the 20 to 25 are range are mostly interested I men in the 30 to 35 age range mostly because they're established financially and know what they want.
