why not desire live with a girl and have sex with her daily instead?

Your rare "celebrity-level" guy CAN and often DOES bang a new girl every day, all year long. I grew up with a band made up of 4 brothers, with the youngest being 5 days younger than me, and he was the lead singer. They never quite made it big, but they got on MTV, and toured with a number of major acts that you'd know. This made him a celebrity, albeit only really in a couple of counties. But within those counties, he could get the majority of women he went for. I quite literally knew personally several hundred girls who admit to sleeping with him - he didn't really brag because he didn't need to. He believes he slept with at LEAST 1500 girls at minimum, but it might have been above 2000.

But celebrity-level guys are RARE.

Below them, you have your ordinary "Chad" or "Tyrone" - very handsome, stylish, popular, successful financially (though not necessarily legally), and good with girls. This guy will typically sleep with 100-200 girls a year. That's a new one every 1-2 days on average, but to be fair, he may stick with one girl for a week, and then the next week have a foursome with another girl and her two best friends. Here's the thing: maybe 20% of these women knew going in that they were just having casual sex and totally accepted that they were just getting with him to bang a hot guy. The other 80% allowed themselves to really believe they had a chance to be his girlfriend, and that he'd give up other girls and commit to her. THIS NEVER HAPPENED.

Below THAT, and you have the "wobblers" - the 80-85% guys that are still pretty handsome, still fairly popular, usually fairly successful, but they just don't quite meet the criteria to be a Chad or Tyrone. Maybe he's not tall enough, maybe he's not quite as smooth with the girls, maybe his looks are great but he has a very average income and thus can't afford a high lifestyle. Whatever it is, he still ATTRACTS girls initially at a decent rate (not as much as a Chad), but he has a bit more trouble closing the deal.

A "wobbler" might sleep with anywhere between 10-50 girls a year. BUT, he is the highest tier where there's at least SOME possibility that he'd be interested in a relationship, though he's still going to have high demands. With a Chad or Tyrone, you need to be either supermodel-level in looks or you need to be a celebrity to have any chance at a relationship - and he'll probably still cheat.

Below this level are "average guys" - all of the many, many guys that are totally invisible to most women. This is where relationship possibilities can be found, but most women literally don't even REGISTER such men's existence unless he's actively fixing her car or her leaking toilet.

These guys are often looking for relationships, but even they have some standards - and most would rather remain single, even at the expensive of going without sex, rather than trade their peace for a girl who doesn't bring enough value to the relationship, because he knows damn well that she's CONSTANTLY going to be expecting HIM to provide value to HER.

You're looking for a relationship, and you chose a TOURING MUSICIAN? That's like searching for ice cubes in the fiery pits of hell - you could not have possibly gone more wrong if you'd tried. If you ever want to find relationship success, you've got to break out of the brainwashing. Your own outcomes should be proof enough that "their" ideas don't work. They're likely not working for your friends either - yet most women can't conceive of changing their own thinking. YOU can be different, but you have to CHOOSE to be different, and you have to do the mental and emotional work to BE different. Otherwise, you're either alone or you're used by the bad boys who are exciting for a little while, but don't actually care about you.

How you end up isn't going to affect MY life - I'm never going to be in your life either way - but just on principle, I would prefer that you ended up in a happy, healthy relationship, because that's almost certainly going to be your best possible outcome. But all I can do is offer advice - YOU have to make the right choices and do so for the right reasons. If you don't, I can't make you. Your mind is your own, and your choices will have consequences to YOUR life, not mine.

I recommend you set aside all superficial characteristics (looks, money, status, etc.) and start making lists of the morals, values, and life-goals you are looking for in a man. That's going to take a lot of thinking on your part, but once you do it, you'll be ready to vet men as potential partners, and I assure you, that vetting process would have eliminated your musician guy almost immediately. And that's what is SUPPOSED to happen. That's how you get protected from being used.

You need to understand that meeting someone and going on a date (or just talking) is the BEGINNING of the vetting process, and you should expect most people to fail the process. That is NORMAL and to be expected. That's also why you don't invest yourself too much (emotionally, financially, or otherwise) until the vetting process is complete. That's going to take 30-60 days if all goes well, but many will be disqualified much faster.

This naturally means you need to vet a decent number of guys before you can expect to find a match. It's very similar to finding the right candidate for an important role in a major corporation. You shouldn't expect to look at 3 resumes and pick one - you're going to look at 100 resumes, interview 2 dozen of them, check references for a dozen, bring in 6 for a second interview, 3 for a third interview, and then pick from those 3.

You can think of dates as interviews. And you shouldn't be physical with candidates until you have picked a winner.

I remember other questions you have asked. There has been a lot of social changes is the short answer. It is not good news for you.

Women are inclined now to leave marriage & babies to late 20's early 30's and at which point men are not young dumb and full of cum any more. We are more inclined to notice that women are initiating no fault divorce at about the 1.8 babies make into elementary school. At least 80% of divorces are initiated by wives and 50% of the happy brides will have divorced by 8 years.

If men wish to have some command of their assets than neither marry or impregnate has to be the golden rule these days.

In my country, we stopped marrying and just cohabited instead; our assets remained our assets. However feminists convinced gov't to make us common law married at two years.

So if a man wants to keep all his own assets he must keep a relationship down to less than 2 years. To be safe let us say 12 months. That is more of affair style duration than a relationship style duration. It becomes more suitable to have brief encounters so as to avoid drama.

I can have quite a good life so long as I don't marry, impregnate or hang out with a girl for more than two years. I would have a better life if I found a death do us part girl but the problem is I won't know.
