How do you react to your boyfriend getting fat?

He's not getting like fat fat. But he's put on like 30 lbs in the past year. Should I say something?

Yea...30 pounds is significant. I think you should say something, guage his reaction. Be gentle about it. But yea, I think that you're justified in bringing it up. If you're thinking about it, and considering bringing up... that means it's bothering you. If it's bothering you, its only fair that he be made aware of it. Shit, he may think you don't care at all since you haven't seemed to notice.

Go for it. If you've been together over a year... go for it. But be gentle about it. He knows he's getting fat (I assume). But he won't be pleased to hear that you, in fact, have noticed too.
