I was going out on dates with this guy for about a month. He took me to really nice places and we got along really well. He told me that he liked me and he wanted to see me basically everyday. and made it seem like he wanted a relationship He left for vacation for a month and before he left we had sex. But it wasn’t that great honestly. I was nervous obviously and like I don't know it just wasn’t the best like could have been so much better. But anyways I didn’t care cuz the first time isn’t always gonna be amazing. But after we had sex and he left he started being really distant. He didn’t reach out that much. About a week into his vacation I sent him a text saying I thought it was kinda mean he hasn’t texted me since we had sex and he knows I’m not the type to have sex with a lot of people. He apologized and told me he really liked me but still didn’t text me much. He got back to the city and didn’t tell me he was back. I called him after a week of not talking cuz conversation just ended and he didn’t answer and then sent me a text saying he’s so sorry he didn’t answer and that he is super busy but I saw a picture of him with girls and guys at the club. So I didn’t answer he’s text. I just feel sad because he led me on even tho he wasn’t interested he kept acting like he liked me even tho he was slowly talking to me less. So all this to say u think it was the sex that made him stop talking to me?

You just have to make peace with the fact you were used for sex. I get it, he pumped your brain with lies and hope, he was wrong for doing it, how could he, why would he, etc etc etc. It’s all pointless to gripe about because at the end of the day he was simply disingenuous about everything he said and continues to say. Yes it sucks but that is just how slimey men can be about getting what they want and that is a hard reality of life. Which is why you have to be smarter about who and how you date. Maybe a good place to start is not hooking up with a guy until you know he’s seriously committed to assure it’s not casual sex. The right dude ain’t going anywhere if you’re not hooking up 3 weeks into knowing each other.
