He's an emotionally dysfunctional cripple who has sunk his claws into you and formed a quasi-relationship with you. And because he's an emotional cripple with no self awareness, he can't actually handle forming relationships that he acknowledges. So rather than doing some self reflection, realizing that he's freaking out and communicating that to you in a healthy fashion; he's going to repress his feelings and lash out in various displays of jealous aggression to scare everyone out of your life that he perceives as a threat.
