So I met a guy off of a dating app about 3 months ago. We went on about 6 dates & I have fun with him. So last weekend I decided to invite him over my house & told him he could spend the night. We had some great food & watched a couple movies & cuddled. I'm not that experienced with guys & sex which might be strange to some people because I'm 24. I really wanted to have sex with him but in the moment I got really nervous & my leg was very shaky. So I turned him down for sex & told him how I felt & I told him I liked him. So he left my house after that & texted me " I'm sorry I had to go but it got weird & I got beyond myself with all those attempts. We have talked on the phone about what happened & apologized if I lead him on because it wasn't my intention. He said he wasn't gonna try to have sex with me anymore after what happened. you see in text I'm keyboard warrior lol I talk a good game but can't back it but I admit it at least. So he's been pretty distant since then & I think its because I turned him down for sex , honestly this is what I was thinking would happen if I Did go through & have sex with him.

I mean props on him for not forcing himself on you but it’s a shame he let that ruin his relationship with you it shows that’s all he was truly interested in all along and honestly you’re better off with someone who doesn’t prioritize sex over your relationship since you’re clearly not ready for this don’t force yourself to have sec to please someone either that’s not gonna help anyone just do you amd keep swimming

But I agree with the others he’s trying to make you feel bad so that you’ll be pressured into giving it to him technically not making him a bad guy but like I said forcing yourself to have sex with him to please him won’t do anyone any favors

In the meantime, practice on your own. Make sure you know your own sexual response. What it takes to get you off. At least then when you meet the right guy you can show him, and you'll be much further along. A lot of women have no idea, but then expect their guy to somehow know. A mystery. LOL

Your hunch is correct. He was expecting sex, but that's no reason to stop talking to you, and if you feel that strongly about what you think would have happened had you had sex, then you made the right decision. :)

It sounds like he is being distant because of not having sex. On the other hand, if you have to have sex with someone after three months, in order to get him to stay in the relationship, you are probably better off without him.
