He's being distant?

My guy best friend is being distant from me, and I can't find out why. I have tried asking him, but he isn't telling me anything. He ignores me a lot, doesn't let me lean on him or cuddle with him as we use to. It worries me. What could possibly be going on with him?

in my opinion he may like you but isn't comfortable enough with you to talk about really personal issues going on.
Like although me and a girl I dated we're together over a year, it took until almost 3 years to tell her I was suicidal and depressed. He may not think you two are at that point of openness

Have you talked about the friend zone recently? It definitely sounds like he's all for you, but is stuck in the friend zone. Sometimes we pull away. It really is ok to tell him exactly what's on your mind. Maybe try opening up to him first. Even guys have trouble taking that first leap of faith.

I'm not sure if he feels anything. He never tells me anything

I haven't really noticed anything. He seems to just keep his arms infront of his stomach while he sits. That's all I have noticed. It's like he has a stomach ache, but I know he doesn't because he would have said something about it.

Well, based on your age, I would say what I have said in my first post. Anyways, there is not much you can do about it at any rate. You can keep trying, or give up amd see what he does. If he is hell-bent on behaving like this, only time will tell what his problem is.
