Why is he being distant?

We weren't together but basically just having sex. It got to the point where we were having sex for five minutes and I wouldn't hear from him again until he wanted to have sex again. We had sex a week ago and he was rushing me to leave because apparently he had things to do. It was his third time doing that. So I told him at the end of the month I wanted to end things between us. He doesn't say anything but okay. Even after I mentioned that I still contact him but he ignores me or is being really mean to me. The last message he sent me read for me to stop messaging him.
