Why is he being distant and cold to me?

This guy have been aggressively going after me but I rejected him. But after awhile I started to develop feelings for him. But he wasn't as responsive as before. He doesn't call me as much or asked me to hang out. So, I decided to be bold and tell him that I wanted to be his girlfriend now over fb chat. He told that he like me but it is better off we discussed this in person.

But since we're on winter break I have to wait awhile for him to discuss in person since he live in another state. However, during break he haven't call me once to see what am I up to. When we talked on aim, he only give me one word answer. I don't know why is he treating me this way. I already declare my interest in him and he so distant and cold.

Why is he being distant and cold to me?

Should I confront him about his behavior?

i think you should wait till break is over and you can see him AND talk to him in person. he might've moved on after you rejected him, and frankly, can you blame him? and now all of a sudden you're interested. I'm sure he's confused and unwilling to let his guard down.

could be he met someone else back home, either a new person or someone he hasn't seen in a while. plus now that you're away from each other, it's harder to remember those feelings for you since you're not in physical proximity. which is why waiting to talk about these things in person is ideal and necessary. do not confront him, you might just push him away. wait till break is over. I mean, when is that anyways? my break ended this week, I've had class since monday, ugh.

Um I hate to say this but maybe e is one of those people that loves the thrill of the chase. I know a lot of my friends just like guys because tey can't get them but once they become available they treat them like crap of lose interest completley. Or he may have just got the int that you didn't like him or had the feeling that you were just stringing him along. I would jsut wait to see him in person look nice but not too nice like your trying to impress him and see what he has to say.

He's probably cautious of you, because you 1. turn him down, 2. waited till you two couldn't see each other for a long time 3. thinks you are playing games with him 4. all of the above and it has made him think twice about you.
