No. Absolutely not. Nobody should be with someone who's mean to them. Meanness has no place at all in a healthy relationship. Arguments, anger, harsh words, hurt feelings are all a part of any healthy relationship (as long as this isn't a frequent occurrence).

Being mean, is not ever ok in a relationship. Mean implies a malicious attempt to hurt someone (name-calling for example, has no place in a relationship).

Yeah both my boyfriend's were mentally abusive towards me.. and at the moment I am considering going back to my first one, since he will take care of me financially and we get along much better as close friends and I am mentally stronger now.. so I think it's the only choice for me since no one likes me or will love me besides him..
