What's an acceptable means to turn down a person?

If you met this girl, but you found out after dating that she was raised in a temple or church, would you turn off her? I would. Mainly since said people tend to be closed-minded and misguided, and toxic in thoughts and deeds.

These things should ideally be discussed early on but once you find out a big point of incompatibility like this there is nothing wrong with ending things

I agree with you, religious fanatics are not suitable for dating, unless you're extremely religious.
