Guys, How can I politely turn someone down?

It must take a lot of courage to ask a girl out or tell her you have feelings for her… and I know it’s going to hurt no matter what, but is there a way to make it hurt less? Or help save face for the guy? What’s a best case scenario here? :/

Just have to look him straight in the eye in a very calm low voice explain the reasons why you're not interested or why it can't work and just apologize and say I'm sorry you know and that's it don't I can feel your heart pounding right now and I can feel you said but we can be friends but we can be friends because you feel so bad don't do that just explain it calmly and it will all be good tell him it has nothing to do with him blah blah blah or whatever your reasons I can't put words in your mouth just keep playing it to him and that's it

Nope. Like I told the last woman that rejected me and "tried to be nice about it". I told her which would you rather. Take a bullet to the head and die right away, boom, lights out! Or would you rather get shot 5 times in the stomach and bleed to death slowly.😆

He's a big boy. He can take the rejection I promise you. And if he can't he needs to get rejected until he learns to. Every guy goes through this. But women on make things WORSE when she tries to spare his feelings. And she runs the risk of sending the wrong message (that he needs to try harder).

Be nice, but tell the truth, and don't leave hope or wiggle room. It's better to extinguish all hope than to allow him to think there's something he can do to change your mind.

You can simply say "thank you, that's so sweet, but I'm not in any position to date anyone right now." You don't need to be mean as long as he's not being mean, or not taking no for an answer. If he's a jerk about it, then you're free to blast him as you see fit.

Their feelings are not your responsibility. Be polite but firm. Do not give a specific reason why you don't want to date them. Just say something like "Thanks, but I don't' think it would work.". If you are hit on by a stranger you just encountered, feel free to say anything, true or not, to get them to leave you alone. Never give a specific reason, that just invites argument.
