I always hear guys dogging on girls who reject them. I personally have been cussed out for it, even when I tried to be really polite.

So I want this for the future so I can piss off as few men as possible: guys, what is the best way to let a guy down? How can a girl reject a guy without totally destroying his ego?

If you were polite and they cussed you out it means no matter what you do they will cuss you out. If you reject them at all they will cuss you out. If you try and ignore them they will find a way to contact you and cuss them out. Fuck their egos just continue to tell them that you are simply not interested in dating.

By being honest without being a bitch about it, unless he's obviously an asshole who'd deserve it.

If you're nice about it and the guy goes off at you for no reason (assuming you didn't lead him on), then you rejecting him was the smart thing to do.

Just say you're not interested. Flat out, be rude, whatever. If he handles it poorly he's not someone you'd want around anyways.
