When it comes to dating, there are benefits to the so called “grey area.” After all, a label-free situation comes with its benefits (aka: the best of both worlds). But it can also be pretty damn confusing. Have you ever been in this situation? let us know below.

No. I'm going to have a conversation to figure out "what this is" out as soon as possible. So it's either "looks like I'm getting together with her" or "we are together."

The getting together part is going to be as short as possible. Then I make sure we're both clear on where things stand. It's shitty to not know where you stand, or if the other person is on the same page. So, I want to have that talk as soon as possible. I make a point to never feel that uncertain in-between phase. It sucks.

Until that person directly asks me to be in an official relationship, I can declare to the world I am not single anymore. If we just chat, it's not a thing. Though sometimes they acted like mate-guarding, still no confession = No relationship.

No, if I have feelings for a girl, I tell her, and then I wait for her to respond. If I'm in a situation with no chance of success, it's better to learn that now, cut the losses, and move on to my next victim! :) :) :)

What you are referring to is called as "Situationship" an in place in between being single while not in an exclusive relationship. No, in my case there is no such confusion. I have always been single.
